We pride our commitment to ensuring a Diverse and Inclusive culture.

We believe that diversity is crucial to creating a culture of mutual respect where the strengths and talents of each individual are recognised.

Allstate NI partnered with Women in Business NI in 2017 to launch the Diversity Charter Mark, a NI-wide initiative across all business sectors, addressing and supporting the diversity agenda. Allstate WITA (NI) have been a driving force behind the initiative. We are proud to say that Allstate Northern Ireland are the FIRST company in NI to be awarded Diversity Mark NI's Silver Charter Mark Status! This has been made possible by the brilliant work our employees and Employee Resource Groups do to make Allstate an inclusive and welcoming place to work.

Some of Allstate NI's diversity groups include:

John Healy, Allstate NI's Managing Director's believes that if you have the talent, then we need you. In recent years Allstate has attracted a number of retirees who decided to return to work for a number of reasons. Many of them agree that the flexibility of working at Allstate allows them to still work in a job that they enjoy whilst having a good standard of living and time off when they need it.

The Diversity Charter Mark

This charter recognises that organisations cannot reach their full potential unless they benefit from the rich variety of talents and abilities of all their employees. A balanced workforce is good for business - it is good for customers, for profitability and workplace culture.

The Diversity Charter Mark framework recognises our ability to identify and reflect on institutional barriers facing minorities & underrepresented genders that impact on their career progression. In addressing these barriers, we progress the overall diversity agenda.

Stonewall Workplace Equality

We believe in the power of a workplace that's truly inclusive. Workplaces where all LGBT employees are accepted without exception.

As a Diversity champion we believe in offering inclusive and inspiring environments for LGBT people, and to empower them as advocates and agents of change in wider society. We recognise the value of different perspectives and the benefits these bring to employees, service users and members of the community.
