Peter Barber

Peter has nearly 30 years working within the IT industry in a variety of roles primarily within the Fintech Industries. Peter joined Allstate in 2010 as a project manager before taking on various positions such as a Senior Manager and Director responsible for the ATSC, Director within ABO responsible for delivering process optimization and automation within the ABO business units. More recently Peter took on a development opportunity within ATSV responsible for delivering production operations within the Agency Telephony. Currently a Director within Direct Sales, Service and Marketing Technologies responsible for establishing the Sales Force Centre of Excellence and delivery of the enterprise Lead Management solution.

Peter spent 10 years of his career from 2000 to 2010, working with Raytheon Systems Limited progressing through a number of software engineering roles, to being Software Engineering Site Lead for the Northern Ireland Operation and finally being Project Engineering Manager on a multi-million pound defense contract, managing global teams and suppliers.

Peter graduated from Ulster University with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Applied Computing. Peter is married to Juliette and has 3 daughters Caitlin 22, Amy 17 and Erin 15. He has a keen interest in photography and more recently has developed a passion for collecting Irish Whiskies and has built too large a collection in too short a time.
