All is 'Well' for ANI at the NI Health & Fitness Awards

Several leading businesses including Allstate NI were among a clutch of winners honored at the inaugural Northern Ireland Health and Fitness Awards.

Allstate NI won Best Corporate Wellness Programme, and member of ANI HR including Danielle Fletcher (Belfast), Sarah Montgomery (Belfast) and Garreth Harvey (Strabane) where there to pick up the prize.

There were 20 awards across 16 categories recognising the outstanding commitment and contribution from the north's top health and fitness individuals, companies and community engagement initiatives and were independently judged by a highly experienced panel from the health and fitness industry which included former Ulster, Ireland and British Lions rugby star Stephen Ferris and Centra ambassador and leading nutritionist Jane McClenaghan,

The event in the Crowne Plaza Belfast, attended by 500 guests, celebrated the outstanding achievements of the local health and fitness industry. It was presented by Strictly Come Dancing star and health and fitness advocate Gemma Atkinson and Q Radio's Ninja Warrior Ibe Sesay.

Centra sponsored the awards, and its brand manager Jennifer Morton said: "This was a fantastic way to recognise the hard work, passion and dedication of people in the health and fitness industry here. We were inundated with entries, and the judges were humbled by the stories from people dedicated to improving physical and mental health."
