Aziz Kabir

Aziz Kabir is a Software Engineer within Allstate Northern Ireland's Information Services Group (DIS) and has worked for the company for over 8 years. Aziz works as part of the Unified Consumer View (UCV) team, a team spanning back over 15 years, where we house all of Allstate's consumer data.

Aziz is currently part of the UCV team under the 'Shop'n'Buy Agile Release Train' which is part of a much larger team that is building a new consumer experience, leveraging new tech capabilities to provide a significant improvement on the existing digital experience.

"As a developer, the Shop'n'Buy ART is fun because I am I working on technologies that I have never worked with before. It is quite challenging as these new technologies have never been used before at Allstate so we are learning how to properly integrate these new technologies with our current technology stack"

Aziz is working with technologies such as; Flowable (an open-source workflow engine), PCF, Java/Spring Boot and Kafka, while working on this project.

"I enjoy a good challenge, the best thing about my job is developing solutions to the problems we encounter on a daily basis."
